This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website or use the contact form.
Technical storage
The public download requires no login. Private statistics administration uses a session cookie. To protect this login, failed attempts are recorded against a hashed network address for up to 15 minutes; expired entries are deleted on the next login attempt. Contact messages also include the IP address determined by the server.
2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Hostfactory in Switzerland. When the website is accessed, technically necessary information may be recorded in server logs, including the IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. This information is used for secure and stable operation, troubleshooting and prevention of misuse. The actual retention period is governed by the hosting provider’s technical and operational settings.
3. Contact form
When you use the contact form, we process the information you enter—particularly your name, email address, subject and message—as well as technical information about the time of submission. This data is used solely to answer your enquiry and conduct related correspondence. The message is sent through the dedicated mail account and delivered to support@musicharvester.ch. The information is retained only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, follow-up questions or legal obligations.
4. Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the contact form against automated submissions and spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile provided by Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile uses technical signals to assess whether a request is likely to come from a human. This may involve transmitting the IP address, browser and device information, and interaction data to Cloudflare, where it may be processed outside Switzerland. The result is validated on the server; the message is not sent unless verification succeeds. Further information is available in Cloudflare’s privacy notice.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
MusicHarvester currently does not use analytics, marketing or advertising services and does not create tracking profiles. Technically necessary data may be processed by the hosting provider or by Cloudflare Turnstile.
6. Disclosure and processing abroad
Personal data is disclosed only where necessary to operate the website, respond to your enquiry, prevent misuse or comply with legal obligations. Where service providers process data abroad, appropriate data-protection safeguards are used where required.
7. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The website is transmitted using HTTPS encryption. Complete security of data transmission over the internet cannot nevertheless be guaranteed.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable data-protection law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data and object to its processing. Please send requests to support@musicharvester.ch. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
9. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated if the website, the services used or legal requirements change. The version published on this website applies.
